At Umpqua Valley disAbilities Network (UVdN), we believe in promoting self-sufficiency and honoring individual choice. In partnership with the Oregon State Independent Living Council, we address key priorities like access to healthcare, transportation, and housing, implementing these goals at the local level. Our Independent Living Skills services are designed to help individuals develop essential skills for everyday life, while supporting personal goals and fostering inclusion throughout Douglas County and beyond.
We provide personalized support to help you develop essential skills like budgeting, grocery shopping, meal planning, and job readiness.
Our services include Peer Mentoring and Support Groups to help individuals build confidence, promote goal-setting, and foster self-reliance.
We assist with identifying and accessing transportation options, helping you stay connected to your community and essential resources.
