PFC Dwyer At Ease Oneida County

The CNY Veteran's Outreach Center at the Utica Center for Development INC. has been approved for a state grant of $105,000 to implement the renowned Joseph P. Dwyer Veteran Peer to Peer Pilot Program! This funding will help the center provide confidential, one-on-one, or small group counseling that has proved to be beneficial for veterans and mental health professionals alike statewide. The Dwyer Veteran Peer to Peer Program has helped countless New York veterans improve their well-being and will now be available to our service members that call the Mohawk Valley home.

Service members, Veterans, and Family Members: Please stop by the CNY Veteran Outreach Center at 726 Washington St. Utica or 301 W. Embargo St. Rome Monday through Friday 8am to 3:30pm. Meet with a fellow Veteran and have a cup of coffee in our Bunker Cafe. On February 28th, the Utica Center for Development will be celebrating its 15th year anniversary. In honor of our anniversary, we will be hosting an open house! Beginning at 5pm until 8pm on Tuesday the 28th, we will have different tables set up for each of our programs. We will also be conducting tours around the building to showcase all of the great programs the UCD offers. Refreshments will be provided.

We would like to thank everyone who has supported the Utica Center for Development throughout these past 15 years. Your support has helped us tremendously in providing to those in need. If you would like to see how your donation helps the UCD, we ask that you come to our open house! There are so many great programs offered at the UCD and so much more to come! Stop by and learn about all the great projects and programs we have to offer!
